StepUP project celebrates its 1st year meeting

StepUP partners have met online for the project’s 1st year General Assembly on 28-30 of July 2020.

During the meetings, partners have reviewed the project tasks done during the past months and planned next steps for the upcoming activities to make decarbonisation of existing buildings’ stock a reliable and attractive investment.

The General Assembly included six different sessions focused on the main ongoing topics of the project that required interaction and discussion across the whole StepUP consortium.

The first session “Project Status update” aimed to provide a general overview of the status of each of the Work Packages at month 12 and a view of the upcoming tasks for the following six months. Partners from ACR have led the second session “Lean Protocol Workshop”, focused on defining the basis of the Lean Methodology for industrialised renovation projects and using it for defining a schedule for the implementation of the project’s pilots.

The second day followed with a session on “Status Update P&P technologies”, which has counted with presentations of Manni Group, Suntherm and BP18 and provided an update on the main outcomes achieved in the technology development and also explained the Hungarian pilot planning. The fourth session “Third Party Clusters objectives brainstorming”, organised by Eurecat and UNI, aimed at ensuring at discussing the strategy to engage external companies in Technology Clusters and how to maximise their contribution to the StepUP project.

Finally, during the last  assembly day, representatives from Eurecat have moderated the session “Next communication actions” to explain the upcoming communication tasks for the project, dissemination requirements and brainstorm on blog post topics. Finally, in the last session, partners from ACR presented and discussed about the status of the Spanish pilot.
