StepUP project partner Manni Group attended the event “Innovating in the rehabilitation of buildings for decarbonization” organised as part of the URBANEW pilot program and celebrated last 10th of April in Barcelona (Spain).
Juanjo Guardiola, project partner and technical prescription manager at Manni Group – Isopan Ibérica, participated in the session “Marketplace of innovative solutions in low-carbon rehabilitation” presenting the StepUP’s P&P façade envelope system, a pre-assembled enveloped panel integrating windows and provisions for the technical systems of the active system, as well as complementary features for the passive system.
The event had the objective to present the latest innovative solutions and initiatives in the rehabilitation of buildings and to discuss how innovation can be the engine of change to promote the decarbonized rehabilitation of residential buildings.
URBANEW is a pilot program promoting a systemic transformation and ensuring that the residential, commercial and public and private building sectors can reduce their carbon footprint and become energy efficient. This program is deployed by the Barcelona Municipal Institute of Housing and Rehabilitation (IMHAB), the Agenda 2030 area of Barcelona City Council and the BIT Habitat Foundation.
